Voombu, most innovative startup at SembrAI 2026
Three minutes to explain a different way to manage ESG
Voombu was selected by the EDIH of the Community of Madrid to present its platform at SembrAI 2026, the 4th International Congress on Artificial Intelligence held at the University of Córdoba on 21 and 22 September. The event brought together professionals, researchers and companies applying artificial intelligence in practice, with particular attention to greentech and agrotech.
Voombu took part in a three-minute elevator pitch alongside fifteen other startups. The challenge was to explain a problem many mid-sized companies know well: ESG data is scattered across spreadsheets, emails and documents, while banks, customers, funds and verifiers demand consistent answers supported by evidence.
The presentation showed how Voombu turns that fragmented work into a governance, risk and compliance system. Each data point is recorded once, retains its source and validations, and feeds reports, questionnaires, risk maps and verifiable files. Artificial intelligence assists extraction and mapping, but never replaces a decision or invents an answer.
The jury named Voombu the most innovative startup at SembrAI 2026. For the team, the recognition confirms that useful innovation is not about adding technology to a broken process. It is about making information traceable, comparable and actionable.
That is also the platform's central message: risk measured in euros, and one data point supported by evidence. A shared foundation for sustainability, finance, management and verification teams to work from the same reality.
